This is a copy from a post I made on the Geforce forums, really would like to fix this issue as it is becoming frustrating. Widevine Content Decryption Module - Version: 1.4.8.824 If anyone can provide me with some help it would be greatly appreciated, the stuttering when browsing can be a pain. ( I may upgrade my PSU to a 650, not been decided as of yet) I don't believe this should be causing the issue. The connectors I'm using to power the GPU is a 6 pin connector and a 6 pin + 2. Something that may be notable is the PSU I'm using is a 450. Go to the menu and select settings in the drop down menu. I have tried IE to see if it was a browser problem but from my test it seems like its just chrome. I had a similar issue and found that if I turn off hardware acceleration it works better. I have tried monitoring GPU Z to see if anything was out of the ordinary when a freeze happens but all seems fine. I have tried Enabling/Disabling hardware acceleration showing no improvement. If I'm browsing Google the text will stop being shown as entered but when the freeze finishes it'll display what I've typed out. When the freeze happens everything continues, so if I'm watching a youtube video the sound will continue to play in the background. The problem I'm having with the card is whenever I'm using chrome I would get this lag/freeze/stutter where the display would stop and freeze for a moment, 2-3 seconds and then continue. League of legends, CS:GO and GTA 5 were what I used to test and all ran pretty well, no issues popped up. I have played a few games just to see how the graphics card is and all seems well. I ran DDU to remove all old drivers and installed the latest drivers as of 30/09/15. Get-WmiObject Win32_process -Filter ‘name=”remoting_host.I recently bought and installed a MSI GTX 970 as my old GPU was dying on me. You can now right click and set the priority.īut that too much work. – remoting_host.exe (the Host Process (32 bits)) – remoting_desktop.exe (the Desktop Integration Process (32 bits)) It will switch you to the Task Manager Details tab. Although Chrome Remote Desktop is a widely-used remote desktop tool, it has certain shortcomings. If you don’t see those process in the Task Manager: When you encountered Chrome Remote Desktop blurry problem, don’t worry, try the two solutions we mentioned in this post to troubleshoot this problem. and changing the priority to high (also with real time) fixed it. I had multiple issues, Chrome remote desktop freezing, Photoshop not refreshing etc. Now I can check my simulations remotely in a matter of seconds… instead of days. Go to Details tab in task manager and set priorities of remoting* executables to High.įor me that worked. Put the remote desktops executables higher on a priority list. If your CPU is busy doing something else (like running a simulation of some sort), it will postpone the processing for… quite a while. Namely, it takes some computing to compress video before it’s sent over the network. The Culpritīelieve it or not, your CPU might be the cause of slow Chrome Remote Desktop connection. Hopefully this note-to-self can be useful to some other self. But! I found and solved the problems with slow Chrome Remote Desktop. It would connect with no problems but then it would lag and stutter and most often, just freeze for quote a while. But sometimes it just wouldn’t work as expected. I’ve been using Chrome Remote Desktop quite happily for a while now.
